Client :: Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance
Industry :: Government, Economic Development
Challenge :: The CLEDA organization consists of economic development entities from the 11 parishes in the Central Louisiana region. They work with chambers of commerce, individual towns, state departments, regional planning and development organizations, industrial boards and more in their efforts to accelerate the economic growth and employment opportunities of the region.
Solution :: Because Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance is a mouth-full in conversation, members were already referring to the organization by the abbreviated CLEDA (klee-dah). This made for a logical approach from an identity standpoint. So using the acronym, KJA developed a logo design reflecting the push forward this organization strives to make. The motion in the type and the illustration style of the state shape provide a sense of forward momentum. The interaction between the letters reinforces the necessary alliance shared by CLEDA participants.
