Challenge :: Until 1987, the Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance company was spread across 11 states, using an array of graphic identities. Right away, KJA recognized this as a major branding hurdle. Our team proposed adopting a single mark to facilitate brand recognition and cohesion across the various states of the region. The challenge came in developing a strong identity which satisfied these independent states, and reflected the tone of the company.
Solution :: More than two decades later, this badge has been used in thousands of different ways to represent the value and brand expectation of Southern Farm Bureau Insurance. Immediately recognizable, the color, rounded corner box and readable san-serif face have stood the test of time.
