Client :: VeRetta Garrison-Moller
Industry :: Artist

Challenge :: Her exact words...“I want you to make me rich and famous!”

“OOOOOOO-K, we’ve been saving that recipe just for you!" That's what we wanted to say - but like a good agency, we held our collective tongues.

But with that initial exchange, the KJA team knew we were off on an adventure that would stretch and enrich both parties. Our initial task: identify and develop visual branding which included her name. Specific design criteria needed to established - complete with an appropriate icon graphic.

Solution :: Her art, a reflection of her personality, is contemporary. Her visual brand could be nothing less. The font used for her name is both crisp and fresh. The black/white/red color pallet reverberates strength and passion. The strength of the understated icon graphic is in its simplicity. A simple square box contains another smaller box, but not at the expected angle - or position. In fact, on one side, it actually breaks out of the square box. This provided the perfect visual representation of Mrs. Moller's approach to her art and her life.
