Challenge :: The leadership at Welch Eye Center came to KJA with one request:  freshen it up. We needed to give the practice's logo a lift while building on the strength of their brand equity.

Solution ::
Many of the original eye-based elements remained in this redesign - but with a slightly more abstract execution - resulting in a more contemporary mark. A more dynamic, asymmetrical treatment replaced the strong symmetry of the old mark. Varied font sizes gave emphasis to key words in the name and also added visual interest. A modified color pallet of subtle hues was adopted. The final design yielded a noticeable shift - rather than a radical departure - from their highly recognizable logo.
