Client :: Franklinton Area Economic Development Foundation
Industry :: Government, Economic Development

Challenge ::
The town of Franklinton lies 61 miles north of New Orleans. Following Hurricane Katrina, the area began to grow. The Foundation looked to capitalize on this residential shift north, but saw competition from its regional neighbors. They came to KJA looking to differentiate themselves from surrounding towns and draw both residential and commercial interests.

Solution :: The area offered many virtues that folks leaving the recent upheaval in New Orleans might find welcoming. These virtues, combined with the ripe conditions for growth, boasts a perfect setting for families and businesses alike. The KJA team landed on a theme of "Growing your way" for the multiple pieces of this promotion. From here, we were able to extoll the many virtues of the area, breaking them into three logical categories: The living is easy, The work is good, The place is fun. Photography, (some of which was provided by the Foundation), evoking the family-ccentric atmosphere set the scene for this rural area's charm.

 A presentation folder, with information sheets, a trifold brochure and complete stationery suite along with a website were developed for the Foundation.
