Challenge :: The City of Alexandria needed a central resource for citizens to access time sensitive posts from the Mayor’s Office, Minutes and Agendas from the City Council as well as locate information relative to each division of the City and their provided services.

Solution :: Using our Content Management System KJA developed a website with multiple administration areas, allowing various department heads of the city to post information pertaining to their services. An “Alexandria Right Now” section was included on the homepage which allowed the Mayor’s Office to easily insert up-to-the minute information in case of an emergency or to highlight special events. KJA also developed an intuitive design and sub-navigation system to post and archive the minutes and agendas for the City Council. Also included in the site are a calendar of regional events and custom maps which provide zoning information such as school and council districts.
