Challenge :: The Diocese of Alexandria needed a site that allowed parishioners to easily find information pertaining to their numerous offices, ministries and parishes. Site requirements included an overall administration area that provided a user-friendly interface to update all areas of the site. This administrator needed the capability to set up user administration for different divisions within the site. These areas needed limited update privileges for specified users. A sub-site was also required specifically for youth ministries. This area was to include an online discussion forum and access to brochures and applications for the annual youth conference. Maps, directories and 69 individual church parishes/missions would also need pages with administration capabilities.

Solution ::  KJA developed the site utilizing the Content Management System (CMS) as the foundation. Then using custom programming in .NET and Flash, Web Services and SQL, KJA developed custom “modules” to extend the capabilities of the CMS.
